Concrete floors support any weight, ceiling heights accommodate tall racks, and the space is naturally separate from your living area. But a great garage gym requires more than dumping equipment on concrete. Step 1: Clear, Clean, and Measure

Start by completely emptying your garage. Sweep and degrease the concrete floor—oil stains prevent rubber mats from laying flat.
